The Cheese Files: July 2026 — Poolside Anthems 🍉

First things first — sorry for going quiet in June! Time genuinely got away from me, and before I knew it the month was gone without a mix to show for it. No excuses, just life doing what life does. But I'm back, and I've made sure July's edition was worth the wait.

This month's Cheese Files is a full-on pool party special, mixed at 172bpm and stacked with 90 minutes of the bounciest, cheesiest happy hardcore I could get my hands on. Even Lumi's dressed for the occasion this time — bunny ears, poolside cocktail, and decks set up right on the water's edge.

What's in the mix

This one leans hard into big vocal moments and rolling euphoria — Vinylgroover shows up across four tracks (including a gorgeous Samba D remix of Bright Eyes with Edy C), Kinn pops up alongside Brett Cooper, Gee & Mikey P, and DJ HerVz, and there's a proper rave-y stretch through Geos Crew and Yannis G in the middle. It kicks off with Funky Resistance's Old Village Ghosts to ease you in, before the piano stabs and pitched vocals take over completely.

And because no Cheese Files is complete without a curveball — this one closes out with Dankel Rose's hardcore flip of "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" from Frozen. Yes, at a pool party. Yes, it works. That's the whole point of this series.
