Summer House Sessions — June 2026
Summer House Sessions — June 2026
The sun's out, the windows are down, and the dancefloor is calling.
June's mix is here, and it feels like the one I've been building towards all year. Summer House Sessions is exactly what it sounds like — a proper house music journey timed perfectly for the longest days and warmest nights. No filler, no faff — just 90 minutes of tracks that belong together.
Setting the tone
We open with Para:Dice's Can You Hear Me — a track that does exactly what it says on the tin. Driving, percussive, and straight to the point. From there, a modern rework of the house anthem Music Is The Answer sets the mood: yes, it always is. It's one of those tracks that feels like a statement of intent every time it drops.
The first half keeps things energetic and club-focused. ANOTR and 3DDY bring hypnotic, driving energy with Like It, while Fezzo, Dubdogz and Zaark ask How Does It Feel — and the answer is: pretty good. MIXMASTERS throw in a cheeky disco moment with My Life Is A Disco that never fails to raise a smile, before Chris Lorenzo and aMo shift the temperature nicely with HOTS 4 U.
Finding the warmth
This is where the mix starts to breathe a little. One of my favourite moments comes early in this section — Nina Simone's See-Line Woman reimagined by Mochakk. It's one of those edits that feels both timeless and completely fresh, and it never fails to stop people in their tracks. From there, ANOTR return with Talk To You alongside 54 Ultra, easing things into a deeper, more soulful groove.
Mason Collective, Chinonegro, and RSquared keep things rolling through the mid-section — underground, driving, and full of energy. This stretch is the engine room of the mix, the part where everything locks in and you stop thinking about what comes next.
The closing stretch
Ultra Naté, Hugel & Imael Angel kick off the final act with Movin' To The Sun — a newer track but one that fits the summer theme perfectly and bridges the gap between the modern stuff and what comes next.
Because then we hand things over to the classics. Shades Of Rhythm, Congress, Hardsoul, Crystal Waters, Phats & Small — that golden era of UK and European house that I grew up on and still love. These tracks shaped everything, and dropping them in a mix still feels special every single time. The Sound Of Eden, 40 Miles, Gypsy Woman, Turn Around — if you know, you know. If you don't, consider this your introduction.
How it came together
This one was recorded at home on Traktor with my Kontrol S8 — just me, a decent set of monitors, and an afternoon to get lost in some music. The track selection had been brewing for a few weeks, and it pretty much fell into place once I found the right opening and closing tracks. Sometimes a mix just flows, and this was one of those sessions.

The full mix is up now. Grab a drink, find some sunshine, and hit play.
